What We Collect
When you run an audit:
- The URL you submit
- Your audit results (scores, check outcomes, recommendations)
- Your IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
If you provide an email address:
- Your email, score band, and detected industry — used to add you to our Beehiiv newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.
Automatically:
- Basic usage data (pages visited, session duration) via cookies
- Affiliate link clicks (which tool slug was clicked and when)
We do not require you to create an account to run an audit. We do not collect payment information.
How We Use It
- To run your audit and display your results
- To send you the InvisibleRank newsletter if you opted in
- To track affiliate link performance (which tool recommendations are useful)
- To detect and prevent abuse of the free audit service
- To improve the accuracy of audit checks over time
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

By submitting a URL for audit, you consent to that URL and its publicly accessible content being processed by the services above.
Affiliate Links
Audit reports include recommendations for third-party tools. These may be affiliate links — we earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate recommendations are based on what we believe is genuinely useful for the specific issue found. We don't recommend tools we haven't evaluated.
Cookies
We use cookies for session management and basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the audit tool will still work.
Data Retention
Audit results are stored for 30 days, then deleted. If you create an account, your audit history is retained until you delete your account. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.
Your Rights
You can:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to delete your data
- Unsubscribe from email at any time

Children
InvisibleRank is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
