Joshua Mitchell

Joshua Mitchell is a founder with a builder's instinct and a marketer's obsession with what actually moves people.

His entrepreneurial streak started early. In high school, he was already selling web design, setting up an office, and hiring developer interns from local colleges. What began as teenage ambition turned into a career spent building companies, products, teams, and the systems that help them grow.

Joshua founded Design On Tap, RARE BREW, and several other ventures, including a few successful exits. Across SaaS, digital marketing, and more recently CPG, his work has followed a consistent pattern: find the opportunity, build the machine, learn what works, and keep moving.

At Violet Foundry, Joshua brings the founder-side perspective: how businesses grow, how customers decide, and how tools need to work in the real world to be worth using. He is especially interested in the space where visibility, product, and momentum meet.

Outside of work, Joshua is a dad of two, married to a wildly creative wife, and still very much in builder mode, which is less a phase and more a permanent operating system.
