Angie McElroy

Angie McElroy is a builder with a design-thinking brain and an operator's tolerance for messy reality.

Her background started in visual communication, but her career has been less about making things pretty and more about making things work: learning the software, reading the docs, finding the path, and turning stuck ideas into usable systems.

She spent nearly a decade in agency operations, managing designers, developers, and product teams through the practical side of shipping digital work. After leaving agency leadership, she built an independent consultancy focused on operations, websites, and digital visibility.

That work kept pointing at the same problem: search is changing, but most tools still ask businesses to think in the old model. Violet Foundry is where Angie builds the tools she wished existed, including AnswerOptimized.ai and InvisibleRank.

She is happiest at the intersection of creative thinking, technical curiosity, and "there has to be a way." Outside of work, she is a wife, mom, flailing gardener, tattoo collector, and speculative fiction writer whose Kindle is rarely out of reach.
